i build tools for learning languages.

right now i'm building didao, an app for using the mandarin you already know in real conversations. it's my startup and where most of my time goes. i also built readspace, the most efficient way to stay informed without being chronically online.

before this i interned at google twice (android, then maps) and at dell. i finish my cs degree at ut dallas in december 2026.

i spent 4 years learning japanese with ajatt, and i've been learning mandarin for the last 3. i post videos of me speaking mandarin on instagram as @abaispeaks.
